The Fifth Avenue Mansion

Cartier's New York story begins in 1909 with Pierre Cartier's arrival in the city. It was after a legendary transaction that he acquired the Fifth Avenue Mansion in 1917, in exchange for an exceptional pearl necklace. Later, the temple would become a landmark in the heart of Manhattan.
