TANK FRANÇAISE

More than 25 years after its creation, the Tank Française watch is back in the limelight in a film worthy of a design icon.

THE TANK FILM

The Tank Française watch is surrounded by an international cast of strong personalities: Rami Malek, one of the most singular actors of his generation, and Catherine Deneuve, the French legend of cinema and style.

An Evolving Design

Launched in 1996, as part of the great legacy of Tank watches, Tank Française debuted a metal bracelet in perfect harmony with the case. With this brand-new version, Cartier revolutionizes a monobloc metal design. A new approach, both aesthetic and ergonomic, energizes the ultra-profiled lines of the watch, available in steel and yellow gold, with or without diamonds.

Everything About Tank Française

The brancards are curved and rounded.

The crown is inlaid to match the profile of the brancards.

Predominantly satin finishes.

The sunray watch dial with Roman numerals is highlighted by the shine of its relief.

The bracelet forms a compact, perfectly flexible chain, a dense mesh of links that remain and move as one.

The Tank Française film directed by Guy Ritchie “The idea of this film is the fantasy of crossing the bridge, from one bank to the other, a metaphor for the passage of time. I did not wish to be too respectful of the story and preferred to add a fantasy to it. It's an encounter with cinema that is not literal and necessarily correct, and that's what makes the film unique." - Guy Ritchie Watch the video
